Hi I'm Rae, welcome to my studio! I'm a potter, sculptor and occasionally poet.

I started teaching pottery in 2021 and always strived to create a supportive community where everyone is celebrated for who they are. I've now founded my own studio in Lancaster, called Assembly Arts, where we offer a vibrant and inclusive space for art enthusiasts of all backgrounds to explore their creativity.

Pottery isn't just a craft for me; it's a lifeline. I discovered the transformative power of clay when I was struggling with my own mental well-being. Through pottery, I found peace, community and a sense of purpose. It's this personal journey that drives me to share the healing benefits of ceramics with others.

I offer a range of hand-building opportunities, from regular Saturday group workshops to private sessions for special events such as alternative hen/stag dos, birthdays, and team-building activities. Immerse yourselves in the art of pottery under my guidance and leave with handmade treasures and cherished memories.

Looking for something a little quieter? Why not book a set of one-to-one classes? You'll have the opportunity to work closely with me, exploring various techniques and honing your skills. Plus, you can try your hand at using the potter's wheel and experience the process of making ceramics from start to finish.

I truly believe that pottery isn't just about making beautiful objects; it's about forming connections, nurturing well-being, and finding joy in the creative process.

Are you ready to get your hands dirty? If so, check out my website for more details on how to book your spot in one of my classes or private sessions. I can't wait to create with you!
