Make a submission to lancaster.gay

Any submission needs to meet these criteria to be accepted.

• A group, event, business or non-profit must be trans-inclusive. There is no room for bigotry, and trans rights are human rights.
• Groups and events must be public; you should not need to belong to a specific organisation or employer to gain access. An example of this would be a staff network.
• Events and businesses should be within the Lancaster and Morecambe area.
• Groups and non-profits should be within Lancaster and its neighbouring towns and cities. 

• The name of the event
• The start date and time
• The end date and time
• The location
• A featured image
• Text and images about the event
• Which group this event belongs to
• The targeted audience within the queer community (All LGBTQIA+, Gay, Lesbian, Trans, etc)
• The price of the event, if applicable
• A link to book the event, if applicable

• A featured image
• The name of the group
• When the group meets
• Where the group meets
• If a donation is necessary
• A link that users can contact you from (this can be a website, email, linktree etc).
• The targeted audience within the queer community (All LGBTQIA+, Gay, Lesbian, Trans, etc)
• Text and images about the group

• A featured image
• The name of the non-profit
• General location of an office that can be visited, if applicable
• Registered charity number if applicable
• A link that users can contact you from (this can be a website, email, linktree etc).
• The targeted audience within the queer community (All LGBTQIA+, Gay, Lesbian, Trans, etc)
• Text and images about the non-profit

• A featured image
• The name of the business
• Business location
• A link to a website, social media page, or linktree
• The identity of the business if ran by one person
• Text and images about the business, including product images

• A profile image (it’ll be cropped square, and can be a personal image, a piece of artwork, or a logo)
• ⁠⁠Whatever name you want to use (whether that’s a personal or brand name)
• ⁠⁠Your pronouns
• Your queer identity - if you identify with multiple then go with the one you want to have on the page the most, or the one with the prettier colours
• A way for people to contact you (website, social media, email)
• Any text you want to use to advertise yourself. For help writing about yourself, consider:
  • What are your skillsets?
  • What are you offering, and what is your unique selling point?
  • What kind of work do you want to do?
  • What kind of clients do you want to work for?
• Any images you want to have on the page, either in the flow of the text or in a gallery.
