Transpiration Wellbeing is a new community wellbeing project for trans and non-binary adults based in North-west England. We aim to provide a supportive wellbeing-focused space for our community to connect with each other and with nature.
Throughout 2025 we will be holding a programme of weekly outdoor wellbeing sessions and community drop-ins in Lancaster for trans and non-binary people, as well as a residential weekend in the Lake District in August.
This session is the first of a series of taster events to give you an opportunity to get to know us and find out more about our nature connection for wellbeing programme. These relaxed sessions are open to anyone who considers themselves to fall under the trans+ umbrella or is exploring their gender identity.
We'll be exploring the queerness of moss and setting our intentions for the new season through creating 'kokedama' moss planters.
- Activities designed to support wellbeing and foster a deeper connection with nature
- Community led - facilitated by trans and non-binary people for our wonderful community
- Small groups (fewer than 15 people)
- Free hot drinks and refreshments provided
- Travel expenses up to £8 a session reimbursed
- For adults 18+
This event is made free to attend through support from The LGBT+ Futures: Equity Fund, a fund designed to help community-led and grassroot organisations supporting some of the most under-represented and marginalised LGBT+ communities.
