At Typhoons RUFC you have the opportunity to be involved in Touch Rugby for mixed genders/identities, or Men’s Rugby Union.
Your 4 FREE sessions can be split across both Union and Touch training sessions, giving you a chance to decide if you would like to become part of the Typhoons family, for either Union, Touch, or even both.
Who Are the Typhoons RUFC?
The Typhoons RUFC is Lancashire’s first inclusive Rugby Club established in 2018 and welcomes people of all abilities, shapes, sizes, identities/genders, and sexualities, with the aim of encouraging people to gain love and passion for a new sport whilst feeling comfortable and confident to be themselves.
In 2022 Typhoons RUFC have seen through many achievements, one of which being the Community Organisation Award for LGBT at the National Diversity Awards, representing all strands of diversity and supporting its members through tough times such as covid, homelessness, career support, and using rugby as a vehicle to build peoples social capital and resilience allowing them to grow and thrive.

Typhoons Train weekly at Preston Grasshoppers RUFC, Lightfoot Green Lane, Preston, PR4 0AP.

- Touch training every Friday at 18:45
